DeMarcus Ware has a full practice

IRVING, Texas -- Dallas Cowboys defensive end DeMarcus Ware took part in his first full Wednesday practice since Sept. 11 despite a back strain he suffered in Sunday's loss to the San Diego Chargers.

A stinger kept Ware limited in the practices leading up to the games against the St. Louis Rams and Chargers. He suffered a back strain in the first quarter against the Chargers and played in 54 of 72 snaps against the Chargers.

Ware was in full pads on Wednesday and took part in all of the team drills.

Wide receiver Miles Austin missed his fourth straight day of practice because of a hamstring strain. He did not play against San Diego, but coach Jason Garrett expressed some optimism that Austin could play Sunday against the Denver Broncos.

Austin did some light on-field rehab work during the portion of practice that was open to the media.

Two defensive starters, defensive end George Selvie (concussion) and linebacker Justin Durant (groin) did not practice. Backup defensive end Edgar Jones was limited because of a groin injury. Linebacker Bruce Carter was added to the injury report with a foot injury but took part in a full practice.

Cornerback Morris Claiborne (shoulder) and wide receiver Dwayne Harris (hip) also took part in a full practice.
