ARLINGTON, Texas -- Halfway through Saturday's Nike Elite 11 camp, coach and ESPN personality Trent Dilfer issued a warning to those quarterbacks who were lackadaisical going through the motions of the drills.
In his opinion, they needed to get on the same level of intensity demonstrated by Dallas Skyline quarterback DeVante Kincade, because he was putting distance between himself and the rest of the pack for the camp MVP honors.
The intensity rose but none could catch up to Kincade, who picked up the first invite to the national Elite camp in July with his MVP selection.
Five quarterbacks were selected to participate in a final two-minute drill simulation at the end of the camp, which included Kincade and Southlake Carroll quarterback Kenny Hill.
