Young at heart of North All-Star football hopes

Scotty Young threw for 8,962 yards and 129 touchdowns in two seasons at Denton Ryan.

Tonight, the Associated Press' Texas High School Player of the Year in 2009 and the future Texas Tech Red Raider will lead the North All-Stars in the Texas High School Coaches Association football game at San Antonio’s Alamodome.

Kickoff is 7:30 p.m.

Wide receivers Darius Terrell of DeSoto and John Coleman of Cedar Hill figure to be popular targets for Young and Arizona-bound quarterback Cameron Allerheiligen of Keller.
