Trinity trails Westlake 10-0 after one quarter

Austin Westlake leads Euless Trinity, 10-0, at the end of the first quarter.

Trinity fans can take heart in the fact that it has trailed in both of its state championship victories.

Westlake safety James Robison supplied the biggest play so far, returning an interception 24 yards for a touchdown 10 minutes into the game.

Trinity quarterback Willie Hubbard's pass over the middle went into traffic and Robison never broke stride after a sharp break on the ball.

Westlake drove for a field goal on its opening possession. Westlake quarterback Tanner Price completed a 29-yard slant to Collin Shaw to get the ball into Trinity territory and later ran for a key first down, setting up a 21-yard field goal.

The march covered 72 yards in 13 plays, ending in a 21-yard field goal.
