Irving MacArthur (34-2): The District 6-5A champion defeated Mansfield in bi-district 81-53; Keller in area 64-47; Plano West in regional quarterfinals 67-60.

Lubbock Coronado (27-6): The District 2-5A champion defeated El Paso Eastwood in bi-district 70-44; Arlington Bowie in area 55-52; Lubbock Monterey in regional quarterfinals 55-43.

Duncanville (36-1): The District 5-5A champion defeated Hurst L.D. Bell in bi-district 68-33; Flower Mound Marcus in area 50-31; Southlake Carroll in regional quarterfinals 60-46.

Amarillo (28-6): The District 2-5A runner up (to Coronado) defeated El Paso Americas in bi-district 56-44; Arlington Martin in area 68-41; Arlington Lamar in regional quarterfinals 58-54.

PLAYERS TO WATCH

Irving MacArthur: Alexis Jones (5-9, Sr. G) is the team's leading scorer, No. 3 recruit nationally and Duke commit; Ayriel Anderson (5-4, Sr. G) is MacArthur’s speedy point guard and second leading scorer.

Coronado: Suzzy Dimba (5-10, Jr. F) is averaging 12 points per game; Lizzy Dimba (5-10, sr. F) averages 10.2 points per game.

Duncanville: Empress Davenport (5-10, Sr. G) is the team's leading scorer, No. 70 national recruit and a Texas signee; Tasia Foman (5-6, So. G) is the team’s second leading scorer averaging 13 points per game.

Amarillo: Krista Strange (6-1, Sr. P) will be a defensive nightmare in the post; Alexius Dawn (5-8, Sr. G) scored 12 against Arlington Lamar in the region quarterfinal.
