It's going to be a fun night in Dallas.
Phoenix Suns guard, and former Maverick Steve Nash won the skills competition. Nash finish the dribbling, layups, jump shots, bounce and chest passes in 37.5 seconds over The Colony's own Deron Williams, who plays for the Utah Jazz.
Williams was the defending champion and seemed on his way to the title, but struggled with the bounce pass portion of the skill set.
It was a long day for Nash, who flew to Dallas from the Olympics, held in Vancouver, British Columbia. Nash was one of three Canadians to light the Olympic flame.
"Yeah, got in at 7 a.m.," Nash said. "Got to the hotel a little after that. Got a little bit of sleep before practice this morning. You know, then got back to the hotel for another half hour of sleep before this. But it makes it Ok when you win a resume-builder like this."
