Wednesday night's Lakers-Mavs showdown at the American Airlines Center is a big night for trading-card collectors, too.
The Italian sports memorabilia company Panini -- which has its American offices in Arlington and is in the midst of their first season printing NBA trading cards -- will be handing out 10,000 packs and 10,000 game boards to fans upon entry at the AAC to promote its Adrenalyn interactive trading game.
Each Adrenalyn card in a 450-card set comes with offensive, defensive, and overall ratings for the player pictured and can be used with the Adrenalyn game board or in online play.
The Adrenalyn game was unveiled in Dallas during All-Star Weekend earlier this month at the NBA Jam Session. Lakers star Kobe Bryant is a Panini spokesman and Panini on Wednesday announced a multi-year marketing partnership with the Mavericks.
