The mask he wore to protect his face for much of the season's second half was shed before this series with the Spurs began.
Now Jason Terry has changed his pregame routine slightly.
After going three quarters without a bucket in Sunday's Game 1, Terry took the unusual step before Wednesday's Game 2 of running through an array of warmup shots on the main floor at American Airlines Center with Mavs assistant coach Darrell Armstrong.
Terry typically does all his pregame shooting out of public view, like Dirk Nowitzki, on the Mavericks' practice court in the bowels of the AAC.
Earlier Tuesday, in the wake of five-point showing on 2-for-9 shooting in series opener, Terry said: "I'm definitely going to be more aggressive than I was in that last game."
