John Wall puts on a show

DALLAS -- With Jason Kidd resting comfortably on the Mavs bench, rookie John Wall absolutely dominated the third quarter.

The No. 1 overall pick pretty much did whatever he wanted for a dozen minutes against J.J. Barea and Jason Terry. Wall put up 10 points and six assists in the quarter, giving him 20 and nine for the night.

The highlight was a 35-foot alley-oop to high-flying 7-footer Javale McGee, who finished in Brian Cardinal's face for an and-1. Wall celebrated by spinning, looking towards the Wizards' bench and busting out laughing.

The 20-year-old rookie is having a blast in his preseason debut with his Wizards up double digits.
