After two intense games in three nights against the New Orleans Hornets, Dallas Mavericks coach Rick Carlisle gave his veteran team Thursday off to rest their bones. And for good reason.

The Mavs begin a seven-game stretch (four at home) over 11 days against five teams with winning records beginning Friday night at the American Airlines Center against the Central Division-leading Chicago Bulls (6-4) and star point guard Derrick Rose.

LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh and the Miami Heat highlight the difficult run with their only stop in Dallas on Nov. 27.
