Shootout: Nuggets' stars vs. Mavs' bench

DENVER -- You couldn't ask for better family-friendly late-night entertainment.

It's a wild West shootout after three quarters: Mavs 92, Nuggets 88.

The Mavs can't stop Denver's stars. Carmelo Anthony has 32 points on 13-of-20 shooting, filling it up for 15 in the third quarter. Chauncey Billups had 18 of his 30 (10-15 FG) in the first quarter.

The Mavs' MVP candidate hasn't been much of a factor. Dirk Nowitzki has only eight points on 4-of-7 shooting.

But the Dallas supporting cast is ballin', as the kids say. Shawn Marion, Tyson Chandler, J.J. Barea and Jason Terry are all in the teens.

Buckle up. It's going to be a fun finish.
