Word out of Phoenix is that reserve point guard J.J. Barea is battling a fever and is questionable for tonight's game. If he can't play, it would obviously put Roddy Beaubois in position to fill Barea's roll behind Jason Kidd.
Beaubois played 21 minutes in his season debut Wednesday night against Sacramento, finishing with 13 points and six assists. After the game he said his left foot felt fine. He became quickly winded, as to be expected, against the Kings.
The second-year guard missed the first 54 games of the season after fracturing his left foot and undergoing surgery in early August.
