Mavs in control entering fourth

LOS ANGELES -- The Mavs won't have the luxury of resting their stars in the fourth quarter before facing the Lakers tomorrow night.

But they should walk out of the Staples Center with a win tonight.

The Mavs have a 75-70 lead over the Clippers after three quarters despite a dominant performance by budding superstar Blake Griffin (19 points, 14 rebounds).

After a sluggish start, the Mavs have played pretty offensive basketball. They have 25 assists on 33 buckets, including 10 dimes by a well-rested Jason Kidd. Led by Dirk Nowitzki's 15, eight Mavs have at least five points.
