The day-after war of words between Jason Terry and Matt Barnes has been more entertaining than the incident that resulted in their ejections.
As was the case in the altercation at the Staples Center, Terry took the first shot, dissing Barnes by referring to him as "The Charminator" on Colin Cowherd's ESPN Radio show.
"That is a guy who is as soft as Charmin toilet paper," Terry said.
Barnes responded hours later on Twitter, moments after his one-game suspension was announced.
"Also another thing NO ONES worried bout wat Jason Terry is talkn bout everyone remembers the 07 season," @Matt_Barnes22 tweeted. "Me & the Golden St homies laid out the blueprint on how to beat Dallas.. "PUNK'EM" Aint [expletive] changed homey.. So enough w/the small talk"
Folks in Dallas can despise Barnes all they want, but he makes a pretty strong point. The guy played a key role in the Warriors sending the 67-win Mavs home in the first round, the biggest playoff upset from a statistical standpoint in NBA history.
