Rodrigue Beaubois dislocates finger but returns

CHICAGO -- Mavericks guard Rodrigue Beaubois left tonight's game at the 7:32 mark of the second quarter with a dislocated left ring finger, but he returned shortly thereafter.

Beaubois went down to the floor, writhing in pain. After a few moments, he was taken to the locker room by head athletic trainer Casey Smith. Beaubois started the game because Jason Kidd and Jason Terry were both given the night off.

He returned to the bench shortly after with his ring and middle finger taped together.

The third-year guard had recently returned from calf strain and was trying to earn his way into the rotation with the playoffs beginning next weekend.

Beaubois played 15 minutes at the time of the injury, going 1-of-6 from the floor with two points, three assists and two rebounds.
