MILWAUKEE -- Prior to the team’s game against the Milwaukee Bucks, Mavs coach Rick Carlisle told reporters that point guard Devin Harris has been cleared for light running and jumping. Harris was forced to have surgery due to a dislocated toe on his left foot back in July.
With Harris being cleared for running and jumping, he can now slowly begin to participate in basketball activities. There is no timetable for his debut.
Harris averaged 9.9 points and 3.4 assists as a part-time starter last season for the Atlanta Hawks, and is expected to come off the bench behind Jose Calderon and Monta Ellis once he’s fully recovered.
