DALLAS -- Mavericks first-round pick Shane Larkin is ready to make his NBA debut.
Larkin, a point guard out of Miami selected with the 18th overall pick, will be active for the first time Monday against the Philadelphia 76ers.
Larkin broke his right ankle during the last practice before the Mavs' summer league team left for Las Vegas. He underwent surgery and missed all of training camp and wasn't cleared to practice until a couple of weeks ago.
"He's been working really hard," coach Rick Carlisle said. "We've been putting him through some very strenuous workouts."
Shooting guard Wayne Ellington, who missed four games due to a bruised quadriceps, also will be active.
