Al-Farouq Aminu (shoulder) out again

DALLAS -- Mavericks reserve forward Al-Farouq Aminu, who is dealing with a sore left shoulder, isn't ready to return.

Coach Rick Carlisle said Aminu would be inactive for Monday night's game against the Oklahoma City Thunder, the second consecutive game that Aminu will miss.

Aminu, who has established himself as arguably the Mavs' most valuable reserve, injured the shoulder when he collided with Cleveland's J.R. Smith while chasing a loose ball during Tuesday's loss to the Cavaliers. Aminu has been a limited participant in practice since then but has not seen any game action.

"He's getting closer, but I don't have a firm timetable," Carlisle said.
