Cards, suspensions all part of the game says Schellas Hyndman

Anyone expecting FC Dallas head coach Schellas Hyndman to have the least bit of sympathy for Real Salt Lake, who heads into Wednesday’s match at FC Dallas Stadium missing two of its better players as forward Fabian Espindola and defender Jamison Olave will both be unavailable after being ejected from Saturday’s loss at San Jose, should probably look elsewhere.

Of course, Hyndman has already had to and is currently dealing with a roster depleted by injuries and he has also lost two players to suspension already this year. That being considered, it wasn’t at all shocking to hear the soccer sinsei channel the philosophy of Texas Rangers manager Ron Washington when it came to being without two of your best players.

“Yeah, it’s what we all go through. Whether it’s a suspension here or there’s a card there, it’s something we all go through. Sometimes the referee gets it right and sometimes they don’t get it right. I can’t think of a time when we’ve gone in with our strongest lineup this year, so we’ve lived with suspensions,” Hyndman said. “We’ve lived with injuries and we’re still living with it. I think it all evens out at the end.”
