The Dallas Stars wrapped up their development camp in McKinney this morning with a skills competition/scrimmage. It started earlier than the schedule said, so I missed the start of it and some people missed just about all of it.
Stars PR said Mike Dalhuisen won the hardest shot with a 106 MPH and Matt Fraser was second at 104 MPH. I didn’t see it, but the PR guys swear those were the numbers.
I did see the scrimmage, which is probably the most interesting thing because you see the players in a game-like situation. A little less than 7 minutes worth scrimmage video is below.
Scott Glennie did not skate today. He remained out with a sore knee.
More on the camp later today and some thoughts on some of the prospects tomorrow. I also talked with several of the prospects over the past week and will short entries on them over the next couple weeks.
