Thursday practice update

FRISCO -- Here are a few notes from Thursday's Dallas Stars practice in Frisco.

Defenseman Philip Larsen (concussion) went through a full practice today. He hasn't been cleared to play yet, but that could come after today's practice. If he does get cleared he'd be available for tomorrow's game against Tampa Bay, but the Stars may use him Saturday in Minnesota to get some fresh legs into the lineup.

“I’d probably look at Saturday more than Friday,” Stars coach Glen Gulutzan said.

Defenseman Stephane Robidas and Sheldon Souray did not practice today. Both are dealing with foot issues, but are expected to play Friday.

“Maintenance days for both those guys and I’m sure they should be game players for tomorrow,” Gulutzan said. “It’s a foot for Sheldon, he took a shot off his foot. With Robi, it’s his foot as well. He had an MRI and he does have a hairline fracture in there that he’s obviously going to play with, but it’s not healed. He is going to be able to play with it.”

Gulutzan said he is leaning towards starting Kari Lehtonen in goal Friday and then will read and react as far as Saturday's game in Minnesota.

“Most likely Kari (Lehtonen) will get the game tomorrow and then we’ll evaluate after the game what we are going to do," Gulutzan said.

Forward lines looked the same as the last game. Here's how Thursday's practice lineup looked:

Morrow-Wandell-Eriksson

Nystrom-Fiddler-Ryder

Ott-Burish-Dvorak

Petersen-Dowell-Vincour

Grossman-Daley

Fistric-Goligoski

Pardy-Larsen
