Here are some notes and the latest statistics on Dallas Stars prospects playing in juniors, college and Europe.
Goaltender Jack Campbell had his best outing of the season, stopping 30 of 31 shots in the Windsor Spitfires’ 4-1 victory over Belleville this past weekend. It was first time in any of his starts that Campbell had allowed fewer than four goals.
“I'm still young and still going through different things," Campbell told the Windsor Star. "This is the first time I've ever had confidence issues.”
The Star reported that Spitfires GM Warren Rychel brought in a sports psychologist to spend some time with Campbell.
"I put a lot of pressure on myself and it's all about getting the bad feelings out and focusing on the good feelings," Campbell told the Star. "I know I haven't lived up to expectations they had for me here or my own expectations for myself, but the season's young and there's no reason to get down."
Campbell is now 3-5-0 on the season with a 4.38 goals against average and a .867 save percentage with Windsor of the OHL.
