The NHLPA and CBC conducted a poll of 318 players about various topics and Stars forward Loui Eriksson came out on top when it came to the most underrated player in the league. Eriksson received 5.4 percent of the vote, which by my calculations means he got 17 votes. Not an overwhelming number, but still more than anybody else.
The Dallas Stars finished second in the voting on which team is most underrated. The Stars got 16 percent of the vote. Nashville was tops with 18 percent.
Stars coach Marc Crawford finished third in the voting in the coach players would least like to play for. Ron Wilson and John Tortorella finished ahead of him.
There are plenty of interesting questions and some interesting results. The entire poll and results are here.
