Here’s an update on Dallas Stars prospects playing in juniors, college and Europe.
*The Stars announced the signing of D Brenden Dillon of the Seattle Thunderbirds (WHL) to a three-year entry-level deal on Tuesday. The 21-year-old Dillon will continue to play with Seattle, where his is second on the team in points with 50 (6 goals, 44 assists) in 63 games.
*RW Reilly Smith registered three goals and two assists in two games as Miami University swept Lake Superior over the weekend. Smith, who has 24 goals and 20 assists in 33 games this season, is tied for sixth in the nation in goals and tied for seventh in the nation in points.
*F Scott Glennie (Brandon/WHL) has 14 points (9 goals, 5 assists) in his last six games. Glennie has 80 points (32 goals, 48 assists) in 62 games, ranking eighth in the WHL in scoring.
*Since being traded from Everett to Medicine Hat within the WHL, D Alex Theriau is plus-12 in eight games played.
*D Hubert Labrie (Gatineau/QMJHL) has returned to action after being out since the start of the season with a knee injury. In his first three games he has registered three goals and one assist.
*D Jace Coyle (Medicine Hat/WHL) is currently listed as day-to-day with a concussion.
