About the Stars

The Stars ran their road winning streak to seven games with a 4-0 win at Minnesota on Sunday. Jamie Benn scored two goals and Andrew Raycroft stopped 26 shots for his second shutout of the season.

“We focused on us and wanted to play our game,” Benn said. “We knew they were hot coming in, but we've been playing pretty good on the road, so we just kept it the same and got a good effort.”

The Stars have points in four straight games (3-0-1).

Kari Lehtonen is expected to start in goal.

Injuries: D Matt Niskanen (hand), D Karlis Skrastins (head) and F Toby Petersen (leg) are out.

About the Oilers

The Oilers are coming off a 6-1 loss at Vancouver on Saturday. The Canucks scored three times in the first 6:36 of the second period to build a 3-0 lead in the game.

"We played the best team in the NHL tonight and lost by five," Oilers coach Tom Renney said. "You don't hand the puck over to a team like this."

The Oilers have lost eight of their last nine games (1-6-2).

Injuries: C Gilbert Brule (abdomen) is questionable. D Ryan Whitney (ankle), RW Jordan Eberle (ankle), C Shawn Horcoff (knee) and D Jim Vandermeer (ankle) are out.
