Off day for the Rangers (well, most of them)

SURPRISE, Ariz. -- The Rangers have their only off day of the spring today. No Cactus League game is scheduled involving the Rangers, meaning the players will not be reporting to the Surprise Complex.

Well, almost all of them. Pitchers must stay on a throwing schedule, so starter Scott Feldman and lefty Ben Snyder will be at the part pitching in a minor league game that starts at 3 p.m. Dallas time. We'll let you know how that goes.

It doesn't sound like a fun off day for Josh Hamilton. He'll be getting some dental work done in Dallas (hopefully fixing his infected root canal) and then flying back to Surprise to be here in time for work outs on Wednesday.

So I'll apologize in advance if it's a light blogging day. But that's the way it goes when no one is around.
