Kinsler to DL as Opening Day roster set

The Rangers didn't do anything unexpected when they made their final moves Sunday to set the Opening Day roster.

Second baseman Ian Kinsler (ankle), as had been anticipated, was sent to the 15-day disabled list along with pitchers Tommy Hunter (oblique) and Warner Madrigal (forearm). The first day they are eligible to be activated is April 10.

With Willie Eyre among those assigned to minor league camp, Doug Mathis gets the final spot in the bullpen.
