Harrison pitch count on high alert

ARLINGTON, Texas -- It's been a long time since Matt Harrison was on the mound in a competitive game, and after his 47-pitch start through two innings, it might not be a long stint.

Harrison got himself out of a men-on-second-and-third jam in the second inning with a nice pick-up of an Ichiro Suzuki nubber that Harrison had to approach, grab and make a hard, accurate throw to first baseman Chris Davis. Check, check and check.

The gem kept the score Mariners 1, Rangers 0, headed to the bottom of the 2nd.
