Kinsler breaks up Tillman's no-hit bid

It took six innings and one batter, but Ian Kinsler was the first to break through against Orioles starter Chris Tillman for the Rangers' first hit of the game.

The Rangers could not capitalize; Vladimir Guerrero followed with a fly to right and Josh Hamilton ended the threat with a hard grounder to first.

Tillman has thrown significantly more pitches than his Rangers counterpart, Cliff Lee, but has a five-run lead through seven. At one point, Lee allowed a homer in three straight innings, the latest a two-out, two-run shot to center by Adam Jones in the sixth to make it 5-0.
