Some of you have asked about a few players. Here is an update from the Rangers media relations staff on several players dealing with injuries:

* RHP Rich Harden was placed on the 15-day DL on Sunday, retroactive to August 8, with right shoulder tendinitis...Harden is scheduled to make a rehab start for Oklahoma City on Tuesday vs. Reno.

* RHP Mark Lowe (rehab from lower back surgery) and RHP Dustin Nippert (rehab after being hit in head by line drive on July 19) both went to Surprise today to continue with their rehab programs.

* INF Joaquin Arias, who was placed on the DL on July 31 with a muscle strain in his back, traveled with the team to Tampa Bay after going 3-for-16 in 4 games on rehab assignment for Double-A Frisco.

* OF Nelson Cruz, who left Saturday’s game with tightness in his left hamstring, had an MRI on Sunday that showed no tear, but inflammation. He was put in the 15-day DL on Monday.
