Stars change Saturday time for ALCS

ARLINGTON, Texas -- The Stars have moved their Saturday night game by 30 minutes to accommodate those fans watching or attending the ALCS Game 2 at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington.

The Rangers game starts at 3:07 p.m. and the Stars hope the extra half-hour means fans might not be as late attending the Stars game or could even try to go to both games on Saturday.

“This is an exciting time to be a sports fan in North Texas, and many follow all of the local teams passionately and go to a lot of our games,” said Stars Executive Vice President Geoff Moore in a release. “We felt that moving the Stars game to a 7:30 pm start would help some fans who were interested in attending or watching both games that day.”
