NEW YORK -- The no-hit bid ended with a blooper.
Yankees catcher Jorge Posada hit a little flare to shallow right field, just beyond second baseman Ian Kinsler's range, for a single with two out in the bottom of the fifth.
Lee is in the midst of another dominant postseason performance. He's allowed only two baserunners, neither of whom reached second base. He has nine strikeouts through five innings after getting Curtis Granderson to wave at a breaking ball to end the inning.
The flip side of the high-K performance is that Lee has already thrown 80 pitches. At that rate, he isn't likely to throw a complete game for the fourth time in eight postseason starts.
