Yankees answer in bottom of 5th

NEW YORK -- The Yankees responded to the Rangers' run, scoring in the bottom of the fifth.

C.J. Wilson was once again hurt by a leadoff walk. Nick Swisher moved to third on a ground-rule double and scored on Lance Berkman's sacrifice fly to deep center field.

Wilson has allowed six hits and four walks in five innings, but he at least saved the bullpen from another game of heavy work.

The Rangers seemed on the verge of seizing momentum in the top of the inning, but CC Sabathia got Josh Hamilton to ground into an inning-ending double play with two runners on base.
