Colby Lewis near-perfect, but Yanks close

ARLINGTON, Texas -- Colby Lewis has faced the minimum 12 batters through four innings. His only blemish is two walks, both to Curtis Granderson. But, in the first Granderson was caught stealing to end the inning, and in the fourth, second baseman Ian Kinsler snared Robinson Cano's one-hopper for an inning-ending double play.

Elvis Andrus also flashed the leather, robbing Alex Rodriguez of a lead-off hit in the second inning.

The Rangers, though, have not been able to score on Hughes since Andrus came around in the first despite having runners on in the third and fourth innings. Andrus was stranded at third in the third after the Yankees intentionally walked Josh Hamilton to get to Vladimir Guerrero in the cleanup spot.

Guerrero, who has one RBI in the postseason, popped out to second. In the fourth, David Murphy and Bengie Molina struck out swinging.
