More than 11,000 fans made their way to the Arlington Convention Center over the weekend to get autographs and participate in activities at the Rangers' Fan Fest.
The total attendance for the Saturday-Sunday event nearly tripled the turnout for last year's one-day event, the team said.
“The new Fan Fest format provided our fans with a vastly improved entertainment experience and many more interactive options,” Rangers CEO Chuck Greenberg said in a release. “Not only was attendance up significantly but also with an indoor event and increased and improved entertainment options, our fans spent more time at Fan Fest as well. We thank our fans for making Fan Fest a big success.”
