Today's lineup: Rangers at D-Backs

SURPRISE, Ariz. -- The Texas Rangers travel to Scottsdale today to take on the Arizona Diamondbacks. They'll bring a lineup that could be on the field at any time during the regular season with the notable of exception of third baseman Adrian Beltre, who continues to rehab from a calf strain.

Josh Hamilton will play center field, but don't that that as a sign that he'll patrol the biggest part of the yard the majority of the time during the regular season. Manager Ron Washington made it clear Friday that the he'll keep Hamilton in left as much as possible to help him avoid injury. Julio Borbon gets the day off, so with David Murphy plugged into left, Hamilton moves to center with Nelson Cruz in right.

Catcher Yorvit Torrealba will make his first appearance since being scratched before Tuesday's game with a stiff back.

The team is expected to get results from the MRI exam on Tanner Scheppers later today. He experienced lower-back pain during his appearance on Thursday.
