ARLINGTON, Texas -- The Rangers are looking for the sweep in the final game of the three-game series with Kansas City that begins at 2:05 p.m. today, as LHP C.J. Wilson goes to the mound opposite LHP Bruce Chen.
Wilson (2-0, 3.08 ERA): The staff ace had his best outing of the season against the Angels last week, scattering nine hits and nine strikeouts, while giving up just one run in seven innings. … Although Wilson feels he's in a rhythm, he doesn't prefer pitching during the day. … He's enjoyed success against Kansas City over his career, sporting a 1.63 ERA and 2-0 record in 12 appearances and two starts. … The tightness in his hamstring that was an issue during the spring is no longer a concern.

Hitters: Michael Young 4-for-10 off Chen. … Adrian Beltre is 6-for-23 with a homer and Yorvit Torrealba is 2-for-3. … Mike Napoli is hitless in nine at-bats with three strikeouts. … Billy Butler 3-for-9 against Wilson. … Jeff Francoeur is 1-for-2 and Melky Cabrera is 1-for-6.
