Reyes (5-7, 4.94 ERA): Will make his 20th start of the season. ... The Jays are 9-10 in his starts, but he has won his last two outings and the team has been victorious in his past three starts. ... Gave up five earned runs and lasted just three innings in his last start against the New York Yankees. ... In his April 27 start in Arlington, the Rangers chased him in 2 2/3 innings, blasting him for six runs on five hits.
Lewis (9-7, 4.07 ERA): Has won four consecutive starts and has gone at least six innings in each. Lewis is coming off his second-longest start of the season, narrowly missing a complete game by one out against Seattle a week ago. ... His April 25 start against the Blue Jays ranks as one of his worst of the season. He gave up six earned runs on seven hits, which included three home runs, and he walked four. At that point his ERA was a season-high 6.95.
Hitters: The Jays don't have much of a history against Lewis with Rajai Davis being the only player with double-digit at-bats against him. Davis has six hits (.375), including a double and a pair of RBIs. Corey Patterson has four hits in six at-bats with four RBIs. ... Texas has just this season's one matchup against Reyes, and it was a good one; they're hitting .348 as a team against him with six RBIs. Nelson Cruz and Josh Hamilton each had two hits in Reyes' abbreviated outing.
