Yorvit Torrealba exits game with headache

OAKLAND, Calif. -- Rangers catcher Yorvit Torrealba left Thursday's 4-3 loss to Oakland after the seventh inning feeling ill following being hit in the head by a foul tip.

The Rangers said a doctor looked at Torrealba and said he does not have any concussion symptoms.

Torrealba complained of feeling sick to his stomach and was removed. Mike Napoli came into the game for Torrealba for the bottom of the eighth to catch and then hit for him in the top of the ninth.

Manager Ron Washington will see how Torrealba feels Friday before determining whether he'll be in the lineup.
