DETROIT -- Josh Hamilton had an ice pack on his groin after Wednesday's Game 4 of the AL Championship Series, but that's not unusual.
"I've been playing with this for a while," Hamilton said. "My groin is sore. A lot of guys are hurting right now. That's part of it this time of year. I'm fine."
Hamilton hit a double to lead off the 11th inning and appeared to be in a little pain as he reached second.
"It just hurts a little more when I have to run hard," Hamilton said.
Hamilton was walking around the clubhouse fine after the game and said it's nothing that would take him out of the lineup.
The slugger scored the go-ahead run in Wednesday's 7-3 win in Game 4 and was 1-for-5. He his batting .278 in the playoffs.
