Pregame events for Opening Day

The Rangers have revealed their plans for Opening Day, which is Friday at 1:05 p.m. against the Chicago White Sox. The highlights:

* Thirteen members of the 1972 team will be part of the first pitch ceremony as part of the 40th anniversary season. They are:

Pitcher Bill Gogolewski

* The National Anthem will be performed by Texas country recording artists Reckless Kelly.

* Rangers Ballpark in Arlington cash parking lots will open at 8:00 a.m. and the ballpark gates open at 10:00 a.m. on Friday.

* All fans 21 years of age and older will receive a Rangers Budweiser Opening Day Magnetic Schedule as they enter the park.
