Derek Holland allows five runs in rehab start

Rangers starter Derek Holland, making his second rehab start with Triple-A Round Rock, went six innings and gave up five runs on eight hits while striking out four in a 7-2 loss to New Orleans on Monday night.

Holland, on the disabled list since June 7 because of left elbow fatigue, had allowed only three baserunners through five innings before being tagged for three home runs in a five-run sixth inning.

Holland gave up one run on three hits in three innings in his first start with Round Rock last Wednesday.
