Rangers remain No. 2 in power rankings

ARLINGTON, Texas -- ESPN.com's power rankings are out for this week and the Texas Rangers are No. 2 behind the Washington Nationals. Texas falls a spot, thanks in large part to how well the Nats are playing combined with the Rangers' 3-3 road trip.

The Nationals have already clinched a playoff spot but have their eyes on the NL East title. The Rangers, meanwhile, are looking to wrap up the AL West this week, but must try to do so with three more games against the A's in Arlington, followed by three vs. the Angels and three more in Oakland next week to finish the season.
