Holland had five strikeouts and only one walk and gave up a home run to Angels catcher Chris Iannetta. ... Holland threw 94 pitches, 64 of them for strikes. ... Holland looks to turn around his numbers at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington. He came into the season with a 5.41 ERA in his past two seasons at home. ... Moore (1-0, 0.00 ERA): The 23-year-old will start for the first time against the Rangers in a regular-season game. ... He's seen them in the playoffs, beating Texas in Game 1 of the 2011 AL Division Series by pitching seven shutout innings in a 9-0 victory at Rangers Ballpark. Moore allowed only two hits -- both to Josh Hamilton -- struck out six and walked two. Adrian Beltre homered off him in Game 4. ... He was good in his first start this season last week against Cleveland, keeping the Indians scoreless through six innings. He had eight strikeouts as he picked up the victory. ...
