ARLINGTON, Texas -- The Texas Rangers and Oakland Athletics close out a three-game series in Arlington, with right-hander Ross Wolf facing the A’s Jarrod Parker in a 1:05 p.m. matinee on Wednesday.

Wolf (first start): Wolf (6-foot, 180 pounds) is the latest member of the Rangers' pitching staff to be recalled from Triple-A Round Rock to make an emergency start for Nick Tepesch, scratched because of a blister on the middle finger of his pitching hand. … In six starts at Round Rock, Wolf was 1-1 with a 1.85 ERA.
