He beat the Twins 1-0 on Wednesday, pitching eight shutout innings. Weaver allowed two hits, had eight strikeouts and two walks. ... He is giving up only five hits per game during this six-start stretch, not good news for a slumping Rangers offense. ... Weaver is 13-8 with a 3.75 ERA for his career against the Rangers.
