Garza aims Twitter rage at Sogard's wife

Rangers pitcher Matt Garza has some explaining to do after going on a Twitter rant aimed at Oakland A's infielder Eric Sogard and his wife Kaycee.

Garza was upset about four bunts the A's successfully put down in Saturday's 4-2 victory over the Rangers, one of which was a squeeze play Sogard executed in the seventh to give Oakland a huge insurance run for a two-run lead.

Garza was caught on FOX's TV cameras yelling back at Sogard and the A's dugout as the Rangers' pitcher left the mound after the seventh inning. Garza told reporters after the game that he was asking Sogard for a good place to eat in Oakland.

Here's a screengrab of Garza's comments aimed at Sogard and his wife. We'll see how he addresses this today.

It also adds intrigue to a rivalry that also saw A's third baseman Josh Donaldson yelling at and disrespecting Rangers ace Yu Darvish earlier this season in a game in Arlington.

Several Rangers players said the next day that Donaldson was upset Darvish was throwing breaking balls and not challenging Donaldson. The A's third baseman responded by insulting Darvish.
