NASCAR rolls into the Lone Star State for its first of two stops at Texas Motor Speedway this season. The NRA 500 is the seventh stop of the season, and will be the first race under the lights for the new Gen 6 race car.
Five-time Sprint Cup champion Jimmie Johnson, fresh off last week's victory at Martinsville, will be taking the green flag at approximately 7:45 p.m.
Happy Hour practice begins at 2 p.m. Friday before qualifying for the race begins at 5:40 p.m.

4:05 p.m.: O'Reily Auto Parts 300 Qualifying
5:40 p.m.: NRA 500 Qualifying
