The Stars (11-4-0) had their-four game winning streak snapped with a 3-1 loss at Pittsburgh Friday night. The Stars are 2-1-0 on their current road trip, which wraps up Saturday in Detroit.
“Tonight we got outworked and I don’t want to see that happen tomorrow night,” Stars coach Glen Gulutzan said after Friday’s loss to the Penguins. “Going into Detroit we want to make sure we are ready and playing our game. The results are going to take care of themselves. We can’t get outworked two nights in a row.”
Andrew Raycroft will start in goal for the Stars.
