Stars goaltending prospect Jack Campbell and Plano's Seth Jones are on the USA's preliminary roster for the 2012 World Junior Championship.
Campbell is expected to be the team's No.1 goaltender. He was the No.1 goaltender for last season's team, which won the bronze medal in Buffalo. Campbell is 10-6-5 with a 3.10 goals against average and .905 save percentage in the Ontario Hockey League this season.
Jones, a defenseman, is the youngest player on the roster at 17-years-old. He is expected to be one of the top picks in the 2013 NHL Draft. Jones is currently playing for the U.S. National Team Development Program.
